Our ward had a trunk-or-treat party for Halloween this year and we were excited to take the kids. Carson was still a little too young to understand Halloween last year, but this year he caught on really quick! I made Brooklyn's costume (my cute little owl) and Carson went as Thomas the Train. They both looked so cute!!
When we first got to the church we had chili inside until it got dark. Then we all went outside for the trunk or treat. We made it about 3 cars in and it started snowing. Pretty soon we were trunk-or-treating in a blizzard! It was funny to watch the kids running from car to car in the snow. I purposely made Brooklyn's costume out of a warm fleece jumpsuit, and Carson's costume was one that we could put a coat on underneath. It was a good thing we did!
Carson had a blast! He couldn't believe that people would give you candy if you said "trick or treat!"
