While we were at Disneyland we decided we wanted to spend a day at the beach. We had originally planned to go to the beach on Monday, but around 10am on Saturday the park was getting really crowded so we decided to head to the beach to avoid the crowds in the park. We rented a car for the day, packed a lunch, and headed to the ocean!
The kids had so much fun playing in the sand and running around. Jason taught Carson how to build a sand castle and they would build it next to the water and watch the waves destroy it. Brooklyn crawled around and thought the sand tasted wonderful. She has sand all over her face in most of the pictures because she kept eating it! Silly girl!
The kids both had fun running into the water and letting the water chase them. Brooklyn especially enjoyed it. You would have thought we were torturing her when we would take her out of the water when she was getting too deep. She was soooo mad at us!! In fact, Jason had to keep taking her back in the water just to make her stop crying.
We had lots of fun and Jason and I both got pretty sunburned. I wish we lived closer to the ocean so we could go more often. Maybe some day...
