My mom got to come up for her Spring Break this year in March! While she was here, all of the girls in the family went to Time Out For Women since it was in Idaho Falls that same weekend. This years themeis 'Seek the Good' (2 Nephi 28:30).What a wonderful theme, and we had a lot of fun!! There were some great speakers who talked about everything from forgiveness to making sure we are surrounding ourselves with good people who bring out the best in us.
One of my favorite speakers was Virginia Pearce, the daughter of our Gordon B. Hinckely. She talked about having a place in our hearts for forgiveness and how important it is in our lives.
Another excellent speaker was John Bytheway. You have to love John Bytheway. He talked about making sure we surround ourselves with good people who bring out the best in us. He asked the questions, "What do they have you thinking about? What do they have you talking about? What do they have you listening to? What do they have you doing?" I have always enjoyed listening to him speak and this weekend was no exception.
It was a great weekend and we all had a lot of fun spending it together. I hope we can keep going every year and make it a new tradition!
