We love living in the same town as a temple. It has been such a blessing in our lives. Carly now lives right next to the temple (I'm talking RIGHT next to it) so we dropped the kids off early one Saturday morning and went to a session. Jason and I have been going separately for the last few months because it's hard to find a sitter during a time we can both go, so it was nice to go together. Afterwords we decided to take the kids out for breakfast. We wanted to go to Smitty's, but the wait was too long so we took the kids to Denny's instead. Brooklyn ate 3 whole pancakes! Granted they were kid sized, but still! It was something fun to do together before Daddy disappeared again to do homework, and the kids enjoyed seeing him.
